Fill-A-Public Works Truck

Public Works truck.

Kenton County Public Works is joining hundreds of Public Works Departments from across the country to celebrate National Public Works Week (May 16-22) by collecting food and household goods for local non-profit agencies. Kenton County’s Fill-A-Public Works Truck will support the Women’s Crisis Center and The Barracks Project.

Two, large collection events will take place on May 22, 2021 from 10 AM – 2 PM at the following locations:

  • Kroger 
    1700 Declaration Drive
    Independence KY 41051
  • Remke
    560 Clock Tower Way
    Crescent Springs KY 41017

Donations can be dropped off at designated bins at the following locations during National Public Works Week, May 16 – 22.

  • Non-perishable food
    • Tuna packs
    • Instant oatmeal
    • Beef jerky
  • Cleaning products
  • Paper towels
  • Puzzle books
  • Socks (male & female)
  • Travel sized hygiene items
    • Shampoo & conditioner
    • Soap
    • Deodorant
