Wild Wednesdays

Discover the fascinating world of wildlife! From June 2 to August 4, join Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R) for their 21st season of Wild Wednesdays! The free programs begin with a pre-program at 9:30 AM, the main program at 10:00 AM, a post-program at 11:00 AM, and lunch at 11:15 AM. They are held, rain or shine, at Middleton-Mills Park in Shelterhouse 2. 

All you need is a sense of wonder and KCP&R will take care of the rest. The programs are designed for everyone- don't miss a single adventure! There will also be free raffles for terrific donated prizes.

June 2 - African Skulls with Dr. Tom Sproat and Critters in the Classroom
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R)
11:00 AM Post-program: Madison Pike Yoga (MPY)

June 9 - Barnyard Animals with Good Green Earth Farm
9:30 AM Kenton County Public Library (KCPL)
11:00 AM Post-program: Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy (DTA) 

June 16 - Turtle Time with WAVE Foundation from the Newport Aquarium
9:30 AM Pre-program: KCP&R
11:00 AM Post-program: MPY

June 23 - Lifestyles of the Sleek and Scaly with Kentucky Reptile Zoo
9:30 AM Pre-program: KCPL
11:30 AM Post-program: DTA

June 30 - Barnyard Animals with Good Green Earth Farm
9:30 AM Pre-program: KCP&R
11:00 AM Post-program: MPY 

July 7 - Science of Sharks with WAVE Foundation from the Newport Aquarium

July 14 - Raptors with Dr. Tom Sproat and Critters in the Classroom
9:30 AM Pre-program: Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council (GSKWRC)
11:00 AM Post-program: MPY 

July 21 - What's in Your Stream? with Foundation for Ohio River Education
9:30 AM Pre-program: KCPL
11:00 AM Post-program: DTA 

July 28 - The Water Show (Wear Your Swimsuit!) with FamilyTime Entertainment
9:30 AM Pre-program: GSKWRC
11:00 AM Post-program: MPY

August 4 - Digging for Dinosaurs with Cincinnati Museum Center
9:30 AM Pre-program: KCPL
11:00 AM Post-program: DTA

Lunches will be provided through the summer food service program for children in collaboration with Kenton County Schools. Adults can purchase lunch for $3. Nondiscrimination statement: This institution is an equal opportunity employer. Lunch is served at 11:15 AM. 

Wild Wednesdays! are free to attend and enjoy. Instead of money, KCP&R collects donations of non-perishable food and personal care items for Be Concerned. Your kind donations have helped way more than you know. Let’s keep giving!
