(Almost) Every Other Thursday Science

Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R) is about to embark on their 13th season of ‘outstanding’ science programming in Kenton County’s Parks. (Almost) Every Other Thursday Science programs are interactive, educational and fun! The free programs begin with a pre-program at 9:30 AM, the main program at 10:00 AM, a post-program at 11:00 AM, and lunch at 11:15 AM. They are held, rain or shine, at Pioneer Park in Shelter House 1. 

All you need is a sense of wonder and KCP&R will take care of the rest. The programs are designed for everyone- don't miss a single adventure! There will also be free raffles for terrific donated prizes. 

2021 program dates are set:

June 10 - Tangram Time! With Crystal Clear Science
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Public Library
11:00 AM Post-program: Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy  

June 24 - Wow, science is awesome! with Science Matters in America
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Public Library
11:00 AM Post-program: Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy  

July 8 - Design Time! with Crystal Clear Science
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Public Library
11:00 AM Post-program: Kenton County Parks & Recreation 

July 22 - Reaction Action with Science Matters in America
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Public Library
11:00 AM Post-program: Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy 

August 5 - Science of Magic Show with FamilyTime Entertainment
9:30 AM Pre-program: Kenton County Public Library
11:00 AM Post-program: Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy  

Snack lunches will be available for $1 a person will include Snappy Tomato Pizza, fruit and veggies. Thanks to grants from Cincinnati Children’s and Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Lunch is served at 11:15 am.

(Almost) Every Other Thursday Science programs are free to attend and enjoy. Instead of money, KCP&R collects donations of non-perishable food and personal care items for Be Concerned. Your kind donations have helped way more than you know. Let’s keep giving!
