Kenton County Public Works will be performing a roadway realignment project on KY 2044 (Pruett Road) beginning on July 11th. This project will require a road closure to thru traffic from the intersection of Pruett Road and Petty Road extending to KY 177 (Decoursey Pike) for a total of 0.3 miles.
The roadway closure will begin the week of July 11th and is expected to be in place for five weeks, weather permitting. During the closure, a signed detour will be in place to direct motorists from KY 177 (Decoursey Pike) to Stewart Road to Marshall Road to KY 2044 (Pruett Road).
Road project schedules and repairs are subject to change depending upon weather conditions and emergencies. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in work areas. While KY 2044 is a State Route, Kenton County Public Works will be overseeing the project. More information is available by calling the Kenton County Public Works office at (859) 392-1920.
