Kenton County Animal Services (KCAS) is celebrating their new hours with a pet adoption special. Starting January 29 through February 5, adoption fees will be $50 for all pets.
“We really want our first Sunday to feel special,” said KCAS Director Kelsey Maccombs. “We’re hoping to place as many animals as we can into loving homes.”
Shelter staff will still be conducting their standard screening and adopter evaluations prior to any adoption finalization to ensure animals are placed in the best possible homes. Adoptions are first come, first serve.
To see all available animals, visit the Kenton County Animal Services adoption site.
The adoption fee for pets is usually $125. Each animal receives a first round of vaccinations, a flea/tick preventative, dewormer, a microchip (registered to the new adopter), and are spayed/neutered.
Starting January 29th, the new hours for KCAS are:
- Monday – Friday: Noon to 6 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 11 AM to 4 PM
