Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R) is about to embark on their 15th season of ‘outstanding’ science programming in Kenton County’s Parks. (Almost) Every Other Thursday Science programs are interactive, educational and fun! The free events begin with a pre-program at 9:30 AM, the main program at 10:00 AM, a post-program at 11:00 AM, and lunch at 11:15 AM. They are held, rain or shine, at Pioneer Park in Shelter House 1.
All you need is a sense of wonder and KCP&R will take care of the rest. The programs are designed for everyone- don't miss a single adventure! There will also be free raffles for donated prizes.

August 3 – The Science of Juggling with Tom Sparough, the Space Painter

11:30 AM – 12 PM Kona Ice will be attending with FREE cool snacks for participants.
Other Program information:
Snack lunches will be available for $1 a person and will include Snappy Tomato Pizza, fruit and veggies. Lunch is served at 11:15 am.
(Almost) Every Other Thursday Science programs are free to attend and enjoy. Instead of money, KCP&R collects donations of non-perishable food and personal care items for Be Concerned.

Library On Wheels
Kenton County Public Library will bring its "Library on Wheels" to provide materials for check out. No library card? No problem! You can sign up at the event or online at www.kentonlibrary.org. Checkout opportunities will be from 9:30 AM – 10 AM & 11 AM -11:30 AM.
