The Kenton County Detention Center (KCDC) will host its fifth annual Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Children of all ages are invited to this free event.

The festivities will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the facility’s main parking lot, with local organizations and agencies on hand to give out candy to trick-or-treaters. 

“The Kenton County Detention Center is a critical part of keeping our community safe, though much of that work happens behind the scenes,” said Kenton County Jailer Marc Fields. “This event gives our team the chance to step out from behind the walls, connect with our neighbors and give back to the community we’re proud to serve.”

Each year, KCDC's Trunk or Treat ranks as one of the County's largest single-day event, with more than 600 children participating last year.

The Kenton County Detention Center is located at 3000 Decker Crane Lane in Covington.
