The Kenton County Detention Center (KCDC) will host its fourth annual Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Children of all ages are invited to this free event.
The festivities will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the facility’s main parking lot, with local organizations and agencies on hand to give out candy to trick-or-treaters. Plus, Holey Donuts will also be available for purchase.
“The Kenton County Detention Center plays a vital role in ensuring our County’s public safety, but for the majority of our residents, those efforts are not visible,” Kenton County Jailer Marc Fields said. “Each year our team looks forward to this event as a way to publicly give back to the residents we’re privileged to serve.”
More than 850 children came out to last year’s Trunk or Treat event.
The Kenton County Detention Center is located at 3000 Decker Crane Lane in Covington.
Organizations interested in participating in this year’s event can sign up online at bit.ly/4thTrunkorTreat. Registration will close Oct. 5.
