Have your holiday lights lost their twinkle? Well, Kenton County is now offering you a way to let that seasonal joy live on, with our annual holiday light recycling program.
Kenton County Solid Waste Management is once again partnering with Cohen Recycling, the city of Covington and Keep Covington Beautiful to collect and properly recycle old holiday lights.
From Dec. 1, 2025 through Jan. 31, 2026, all holiday lights (traditional and LED style bulbs) will be accepted at various drop-off locations throughout Northern Kentucky, including 11 in Kenton County.
