Kentucky law requires counties with district-based elections—such as those with a Fiscal Court composed of a County Judge/Executive and Commissioners—to redraw their commission districts every 10 years following the decennial U.S. Census. This process, which is overseen by the County Clerk, is required to begin the third year after the census.
Kenton County completed its reapportionment process in June 2023, with those changes to going into effect for the countywide elections in 2026. To view the updated Kenton County Commissioner Districts Map, click here.
