Fall Cleanup event is an opportunity for Kenton County residents to dispose of unwanted trash, debris or bulky household items free of charge. Participants must have a valid Kenton County ID or some other proof of residency.
Accepted items include:
- Appliances (FREON accepted with a $25 fee - No food waste inside)
- Yard debris
- Household trash
- Scrap metal
- Electronics (anything with a power cord, one TV per vehicle)
- Motor and Rechargeable batteries
- 20lb propane grill tank
- Tires - Up to (8) standard tires are free pre resident address
- Lawn equipment and power tools
All items can be dropped off at Kenton County Public Works, located at 420 Independence Station Road in Independence, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 29th and 30th.
