[ARCHIVED] Kenton County Public Works' Fall Cleanup

Fall Cleanup

Fall Cleanup event is an opportunity for Kenton County residents to dispose of unwanted trash, debris or bulky household items free of charge. Participants must have a valid Kenton County ID or some other proof of residency.

Accepted items include: 

  • Appliances (FREON accepted with a $25 fee - No food waste inside)
  • Yard debris
  • Household trash
  • Scrap metal
  • Electronics (anything with a power cord, one TV per vehicle)
  • Motor and Rechargeable batteries
  • 20lb propane grill tank
  • Tires - Up to (8) standard tires are free pre resident address
  • Lawn equipment and power tools

All items can be dropped off at Kenton County Public Works, located at 420 Independence Station Road in Independence, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 29th and 30th.
