OneNKY Center rendering

The OneNKY Center, located at the foot of the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, is home to many Northern Kentucky growth organizations. The grand opening was celebrated on Sept. 12, 2025.

Gov. Andy Beshear joined local and state officials and leaders of several Northern Kentucky organizations to break ground on the new OneNKY Center in Covington on August 30, 2023, and a topping out ceremony was held with community leaders and tenants on June 26, 2024.

What organizations will be located within the OneNKY Center?

OneNKY Center is home to several of Northern Kentucky growth organizations, including OneNKY Alliance, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, MeetNKY, BE NKY Growth Partnership, the Catalytic Fund of Northern Kentucky, Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association. Thomas More University's Division of External Affairs also has space within the building.

What is the lab space included?

In 2022, the Kentucky General Assembly earmarked $15 million to create a life sciences lab in Covington. The goal is for this 15,000-square-feet of lab space to serve as incubator for early-stage companies, including those in the biotech, biopharma, medical device, digital health and health technology fields.

The lab is led by LifeSciKY, a nonprofit co-chaired by Bexion Pharmaceuticals Chairman Chuck Scheper and St. Elizabeth Healthcare CEO Garren Colvin.

The OneNKY Center is located at 209 Greenup St. at the John R. Roebling Suspension Bridge in Covington. Parking is available nearby at the Kenton County Parking Garage.

What is Kenton County's role in the project?

Kenton County provided a credit enhancement of up to $10 million in construction bonds to support the project's capital stack. Overall, the OneNKY Center represents a $26 million investment.

Who owns the OneNKY Center?

The OneNKY Center is owned by the Northern Kentucky Port Authority, a government agency overseen by Northern Kentucky's three counties that is housed within Be NKY Growth Partnership.

Who is on the team building the OneNKY Center?

Corporex Cos. served as the developer of the project, while Paul Hemmer Co.'s construction firm, Hemmer Construction Co., built the 45,000-square-foot facility.
