Adoption Fees and Information

Dogs/Puppies
Immunizations:
  • rDAPP-LCGIP (distemper, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, leptospirosis/leptospirosia)
  • "Kennel Cough" (parainfluenza, bordetella bronchiseptica)
  • Dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested

Cats/Kittens
Immunizations:
  • RCCP (rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, chlamydia psittaci)
  • Tested for FIV & FeLV
$125
  • All animals are given dewormer.
  • All animals are given flea/tick preventative.

Spaying & Neutering

Every adoption includes spaying/neutering of the pet (this is mandatory) and each new pet owner signs a legal adoption contract.

This application is designed to determine the best possible placement for each animal in our care. After submitting your application, please call our Adoption Center at (859) 356-7400 or come to the shelter in person during business hours..
